Clair Obscur actor jokes he'll be 'filled with murderous rage' over Monoco role

With Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in line for a live-action movie adaptation, Rich Keeble — the voice of the battle-loving Gestral Monoco — joked hell be "filled with murderous rage" if he doesnt get to reprise the role. Keeble says he "doesn't know anything about how that film is going on." The movie was announced last January in partnership with Story Kitchen, before the game released, and the JRPG became far more popular than its creators expected.

Details remain light, but Keeble says he "would love to play Monoco in any shape or form" and expects "obviously they're going to get famous people in to play the characters where possible." As a Gestral, Monoco "is most likely to be CGI-ed or [motion-captured] or something 6 hopefully not AI, goodness me," he suggested, which could mean different treatment from the human characters.
