Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey Tickets Now on Sale

Tickets for Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey are now available in all formats as of June 9, 2026. The film opens in theaters on July 17, 2026. Early 70mm IMAX tickets released by Universal Pictures on July 17, 2025 sold out immediately, and when wider IMAX sales opened on June 4 demand was so high that several ticket websites crashed.

The Odyssey will be shown in IMAX, IMAX 70mm, 70mm, 4DX, XD, D-Box and MDX4D, with specific options depending on what local theaters support. Nolan filmed the feature entirely in the IMAX format using original and new IMAX Film Cameras, capturing images at up to three times the resolution of standard digital cameras. Check IMAX or your local theater for the latest inventory.

The cast includes Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Lupita Nyong'o as Helen of Troy, Zendaya as Athena, Charlize Theron as Calypso, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus and John Leguizamo as Eumaeus.
