Chris Hemsworth and Taron Egerton in First Official Images From 'Kockroach'

The first official image from Kockroach shows Chris Hemsworth and Taron Egerton in matching black suits with long jackets and hats, walking along a pier away from a classic black sports car. The film is directed by Matt Ross and written by Jonathan Ames, and adapts the 2007 novel by William Lasher (writing as Tyler Knox).

Channing Tatum had originally been set to lead before vacating the role due to scheduling conflicts, paving the way for Hemsworth's casting. The picture hints at a mid-century setting, with the time period appearing to be the 1940s or 1950s. Hemsworth has also shared recent set photos showing a noticeably slimmer look than the physique he usually displays in the MCU and other action projects.

Kockroach features a supporting cast that includes Zazie Beetz, Rachel Sennott, Brian Geraghty and Alec Baldwin, the latter marking his first major Hollywood production since the 2021 Rust incident.
