Chris Evans says Steve Rogers will appear in Avengers: Secret Wars. "I start work on the next one in a couple months, so I'm in the next one," Evans said. "I can't tell you how much I'm in the next one, but I'm in it."

The film borrows its title from the Marvel comic arc that follows Peter Parker in a black suit after an alien symbiote comes to Earth. In the comics the symbiote fails to attach to Peter and instead bonds with Eddie Brock; the 12-issue story centers on the Beyonder, who transports the Avengers to Battleworld and traps them in an ongoing conflict with other villains, including Doctor Doom.

Steve Rogers had a definitive ending in Avengers: Endgame, but he has returned to the MCU. The first teaser showed Rogers living in the past and cradling a baby he presumably had with Peggy Rogers, after he declined to return to the future.

Avengers: Doomsday releases in theaters on December 18, with Avengers: Secret Wars arriving the following December in 2027.
