Chill: Jeremie Frimpong explains celebrations after Arsenal loss

Liverpool defender Jeremie Frimpong urged fans to "chill" after footage showed him celebrating Arsenal’s Champions League final penalty shootout defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest. The Netherlands international was filmed leaping from his seat and shouting as Gabriel Magalhaes’s decisive spot-kick sailed into the crowd.

The European final had been a tense affair, with Kai Havertz giving Arsenal an early lead only for Ousmane Dembele to level, and the match finishing 1-1 after extra time. Eberechi Eze had missed earlier in the shootout before Gabriel’s miss sealed PSG’s successful defence of the trophy, prolonging Arsenal’s wait for a first Champions League title despite their domestic success.
