Chicago P.D. Season 14: Premiere Date and What to Expect
After 13 seasons of gritty, memorable television, Chicago P.D. returns for a 14th season. The show premieres Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC, with episodes available the next day on Peacock. That night also marks the return of Chicago Med Season 12 at 8 p.m.
ET and Chicago Fire Season 15 at 9 p.m. ET. Fans are still catching their breath after the explosive Season 13 finale in May 2026. That season put many characters through major personal changes: Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) battled and overcame depression, Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Fleuger) decided to move away from Canaryville, and Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) realized he was going to be a father.
Showrunner Gwen Sigan said the events of Season 13 "sets up" a new season that will feel different. "We wanted to focus on sort of why each of them is the way they are, where does that come from, and it was really a fun season to explore," she explained.
