Chelsea prepared to sell Trevoh Chalobah with Como among suitors
Chelsea are prepared to listen to offers for Trevoh Chalobah after the defender attracted interest from across Europe, including Italian side Como. The academy graduate, once a regular fixture, is no longer viewed as untouchable as the club reshapes its backline under new leadership.
Chalobah is entering the final two years of his contract, which includes a club option for a further 12 months, and there have been no signs of talks over an extension. He featured 47 times in all competitions last season, yet the board do not now see him as indispensable for the upcoming campaign.
Como, who clinched a Champions League place under Cesc Fàbregas, are among the clubs monitoring his situation, though they are not advanced in their pursuit as they plan their summer recruitment. Several other Champions League teams have also shown interest, leaving the race for his signature competitive.
