Chainsaw Man franchise getting its first dedicated video game
MAPPA used its 15th anniversary livestream to debut the first official Chainsaw Man video game, sharing the announcement alongside highlights such as the studio’s forthcoming Assassin Arc. The studio premiered an intro movie built from high-quality 3D character models and cinematic cutscenes that echo the series’ style, accompanied by Maximum the Hormone’s “All the Lynch!!!
All the Mince!!.” The trailer includes many of the main characters — Denji, Power, Aki and Makima — but doesn’t show how they’ll appear in play. Few details are available beyond the fact the title is a mobile-first experience and may not reach PC or consoles soon.
The full international title remains under wraps, and the footage leaves the genre open: it could be anything from a gacha RPG to an arena fighter until MAPPA provides more information. An official English promotional page on X will share further updates.
