Carcass Clad: a co-op tank game with a disgusting twist
Carcass Clad, from Wrong Organ—the studio behind Mouthwashing—made a feral impression at the PC Gaming Show. Players sit inches from hot, dangerous machinery and must operate their section of a tank and communicate with their crew to stand any chance of defeating enemies; the vibe calls to mind Fury.
The grotesque twist pushes things further: a cultish military armours its vehicles with animals—some still living—and has resurrected a long-dead political figure, transforming them into a bird-man who hunts you throughout a run. Play divides into three roles: commander, driver, and gunner.
The commander spots enemies, plans routes through the city, collects items outside the tank, and deploys defensive measures like smoke screens. The gunner aims, fires, reloads, and scans for threats, while the driver moves and positions the tank and manages power between systems.
