Capcom to improve Dragon's Dogma 2 with performance fixes and updates
Capcom is rolling out free updates for Dragon's Dogma 2 ahead of the Dark Arisen expansion in October, with some changes available now and others scheduled for August. The patch cycle follows recent news around other Capcom action RPGs and aims to address longstanding player concerns.
Today's headline addition is the Eternal Ferrystone, an infinite-use fast travel item, paired with more Portcrystals across the world. Dungeon loot will see improved stats, multiple fees and prices have been reduced, some quests award more gold, and dashing will use less stamina outside of combat.
A specific fix notes, "Selecting Load from Autosave after defeat will no longer result in loss gauge accumulation." An August update will add three save slots, each holding autosave, "interim save," or "last inn rest" data, and will display date and time details; loading an inn save "will no longer delete your autosave or interim save." The Dragonsplague hazard has been toned down and a Dragonsbaulk Draught will be added to cure it.
