Bungie revives huge number of Destiny 2 weapons for final update

Destiny 2 is getting a large armory overhaul in its Monument of Triumph update, with Bungie resurrecting many long-absent favorites and adding new gear. One sandbox developer joked, "my body physically hurts from the amount of items we were updating and implementing," a remark shared by Bungie comms manager dmg04 on X.

Patrol destinations will get updated loot pools with tiered drops, matching regions to returning weapons—Cosmodrome offering Rasputin guns, Nessus receiving Vex weapons. Gambit gains reprised Drifter guns, Sparrow Racing League returns with its own shooting and slashing implements, and Crucible, Trials, and Iron Banner see expanded pools with reprised and tiered favorites, new armor, and some new guns, including Better Devils.

Solo Ops, Fireteam Ops, Pinnacle Ops, and Arena Ops each receive dedicated weapon pools, with Arena Ops featuring reprised Black Armory weapons, and pre-Edge of Fate dungeons and raids dropping tiered versions of their loot.
