Build 2026: Microsoft folds MDASH into enterprise security control plane

Last month Microsoft introduced MDASH, its Microsoft Security multi-model agentic scanning harness. At Build 2026 the company said it is folding MDASH into a full enterprise security control plane that connects Defender, GitHub Code Security, Agent 365, and Purview; the capability is now in expanded preview with Defender integration.

MDASH functions as an agentic AI system that performs triage on vulnerabilities, prioritizing real, actionable risks over noisy findings to help teams focus on exploitable issues.
