Bitcoin held its 200-week trend line at the weekly close despite renewed selling that pushed local lows to about $63,700. Traders on shorter time frames are increasingly bullish, eyeing relief rallies to roughly $65,000–$67,000 after BTC sealed a third straight weekly close above the 200-week simple moving average at $63,322, though reclaiming the Weekly 200 EMA at $68,521 would strengthen the case for a broader uptrend.

Geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran have added pressure on risk assets, sending WTI crude above $80 per barrel and Brent past $90 and prompting a brief closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The coming week’s corporate earnings from Tesla, Alphabet and Intel could further fuel short-term volatility, while markets still price a 0.25% Fed rate hike in September.

On-chain data show Bitcoin spot demand faded after an early-July uptick, with a 30-day reading sliding from about -80,000 BTC to nearly -170,000 BTC, even as US spot Bitcoin ETFs registered net inflows on most days last week.
