Brooklyn Beckham praises father-in-law amid family rift

Brooklyn Beckham posted a warm birthday tribute to his father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, as the billionaire turned 83. On his Instagram Stories he shared a photo of the two with their arms around, saying he loved him and thanking him for being the best father-in-law.

Nicola Peltz also posted a photo of the three together, writing that she felt truly blessed to have grown up watching him be such an incredible role model and praising his unconditional love and encouragement. The message stands in contrast to Beckham’s current relationship with his parents.

David and Victoria spent Father’s Day weekend at a West London gastro pub with their two younger sons, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, and their sons’ girlfriends, while Brooklyn was absent. Both David and Victoria included throwback pictures of Brooklyn in their Father’s Day posts; Victoria posted a snap of all four children and David shared a black-and-white childhood photo showing Brooklyn holding baby Harper, along with individual portraits.
