Britney Spears says kitchen brings up 'emotional issues' after DUI, rehab

Britney Spears wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post that she has been dealing with "emotional issues" following a DUI arrest and a stint in rehab. She described her year as "quite interesting" and said many emotions surface in the kitchen, "where we as a family all come together to celebrate, pray and cook." She said she has "never done so many arts and crafts," recalling a night of painting that produced a stained glass lamp she was "in love" with.

The lamp gave her "the most peaceful feeling" and sat in her kitchen for three months before a housekeeper "accidentally" threw it away; Spears wrote she was "used to people taking [her] things." The post came more than two months after her March 4 DUI arrest in Ventura County, when she was seen driving allegedly "erratically," failed a field sobriety test and said she had had only one mimosa.

A police report noted she told officers she had taken several prescriptions, including Adderall, Lamictal and Prozac.
