Brendan Wayne on Enforcing the Mandalorian's Rules
Pedro Pascal receives top billing in The Mandalorian and Grogu as Din Djarin, the bounty hunter now working with the New Republic alongside his protégé Grogu. Because the character keeps his helmet on most of the time, many on-screen Mandalorian moments are performed by Brendan Wayne or Lateef Crowder, who are credited as Pascal's on-set body doubles.
Wayne told MovieWeb at a Fan Expo Philadelphia panel that he wrote a 370-page 'Bible' of 'Mando-isms' and regularly pushed back when direction clashed with the character's physical rules. 'First of all, I'm not using my right hand for anything other than grabbing my gun,' he said.
'I don't pick up the kid in my right hand.
