Bose SoundLink Max drops to $279 in early Prime Day sale

Prime Day is running as a multi-day event and prices are starting to fall early. Among the discounts is the Bose SoundLink Max, a portable Bluetooth speaker that normally sells for $399 but is marked down 30%, a $120 savings that brings the price to $279 for a limited time.

The SoundLink Max is designed for portability. It’s lightweight and has a removable handle made from a soft climbing rope for easy carrying. The speaker is built to handle the outdoors, with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and protection against shock and rust, so it can go to the beach or pool without worry.

Battery life is rated at about 20 hours on a single charge, and the speaker recharges over USB-C with a cable included. The USB-C port can also be used to charge a phone or other device, letting the speaker act as a power bank when outlets aren’t available.
