Bob Odenkirk is starring in a green-screen remake of Tommy Wiseau's 2003 film The Room. The first trailer shows Odenkirk delivering melodramatic lines such as "You're tearing me apart, Lisa!" and "Why… why is this happening to me?" The tribute film will premiere on June 26, 2026, at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.

Shot in under 12 hours on virtually no budget and without rehearsal, The Room Returns follows Wiseau's original script beat for beat as a loving tribute. The ensemble includes Bella Heathcote, Kate Siegel, Cameron Kasky, horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan and original The Room cast member Greg Sestero, who takes on the role of Chris‑R; Brando Crawford directs and also appears.

All proceeds will go to amfAR and Blue Collaborative. The remake gives fans a chance to revisit the cult phenomenon 23 years after the original debuted, a film long remembered as an unintended cult comedy and widely labeled one of the worst movies ever made.
