Beyoncé shared a Cécred video on Father’s Day that traces the story behind Jay‑Z’s locs, documenting the days‑long process of combing them out with family snapshots and clips of her and their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, working through his hair. In the voiceover she explained the locs were never just about the look: “Our daughter was about five, and she wasn’t feeling very confident about her hair at that time,” said the Grammy winner.
