Best new shows and movies to stream this weekend (June 5–7)

June's first weekend brings several returning series and new films to streaming services. The standout is Cape Fear, an Apple TV+ adaptation of John D. MacDonald's The Executioners starring Javier Bardem and Amy Adams; the first two episodes are available now, with the rest of the limited series airing weekly.

Prime Video returns The Legend of Vox Machina for a fourth, penultimate season, with the first three episodes available now and further triple-episode drops to follow. AMC+ continues the Anne Rice universe with The Vampire Lestat — effectively Interview With the Vampire season three — shifting the story to Sam Reid’s Lestat; the first episode arrives June 7, with subsequent installments on Sundays.

On the movie front, Netflix offers rom-com Office Romance, written by and starring Brett Goldstein opposite Jennifer Lopez as a CEO whose anti-fraternization policy is tested.
