Best early Prime Day deals for gamers: PS5, Switch, Xbox and PC
Amazon Prime Day officially kicks off tonight, but there are plenty of early discounts already hitting the shelves. From controllers to this year’s biggest releases, early PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PC deal hunters are reaping rewards right now. The main event launches at midnight tonight, and Amazon already has several offers live alongside competing sales from Best Buy, Walmart, Newegg and others.
If you’re using these summer sales to upgrade a gaming laptop or hunt down PC parts, prioritize Best Buy and Newegg over Amazon; for games, Woot (an Amazon-owned brand with free Prime shipping) has prices well below the competition this week. Examples of current deals include PS5 games starting from $19.99, Switch 2 bundles at $499.99, controllers from $17.99 and laptops with RTX 5060 from $1,199.
Prime Day runs four days, from June 23 to June 26, and you’ll need a Prime membership for Amazon’s biggest offers (free trials are available).
