Bellingham and Rogers defend Jordan Henderson's England role

Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers have publicly defended Jordan Henderson amid debate over his place in England’s squad, saying the veteran’s influence stretches beyond the pitch and praising his leadership, humility and role in Thomas Tuchel’s camp ahead of the clash with Croatia.

Bellingham, speaking on the England YouTube channel, said Henderson keeps the group together and handles issues young players might not raise. He added that staff turn to Henderson to sort problems, noted the midfielder has "no ego" and described his daily work in training and his willingness to do even basic tasks despite being a Premier League and Champions League-winning captain.
