Be Quiet! unveils large Pure Base 803 case with room for seven HDDs

At Computex, Be Quiet! unveiled the Pure Base 803 and a white Pure Base 803 LX. The large chassis supports up to three 420 mm radiators and two 140 mm rear fans and, the company says, is "designed for maximum performance, high hardware compatibility, and flexible storage options." The case features a modular front system, an interchangeable front I/O, and ships with four Pure Wings 3 140 mm PWM fans.

The LX model swaps in a glass front panel and LX fans and will be available in white as well as black; the standard 803 has a non-transparent front and appears in black. Internal storage is generous: the 803 offers space for up to seven HDDs. With typical 1–2 TB drives that could mean more than 10 TB of spinning storage, and with larger 4–8 TB drives the chassis could nearly reach 100 TB, not counting any motherboard SSDs.

Be Quiet! expects to launch the 803 range in early next year, with pricing not yet announced.
