Bayern submit €53m bid for Ismael Saibari as PSV seek club-record fee

Bayern Munich have stepped up their pursuit of PSV midfielder Ismael Saibari by submitting an improved offer worth a total of €53 million. The package reportedly comprises a guaranteed €48 million fixed fee plus up to €5 million in performance-related add-ons, with the Morocco international a priority target as Bayern look to boost their midfield.

PSV are pressing for the best possible terms, insisting on payment schedules and conditions that fit their financial planning before granting final approval. At the current valuation, the move would become the most expensive outgoing transfer in PSV’s history; the club appears resigned to losing the 25-year-old given the size of the offer.

All parties aim to sign the contract after June 30 to secure fiscal advantages for PSV. Medical examinations could take place beforehand, and Bayern are expected to assume insurance risk during the interim period between any medicals and the formal activation of the deal in July.
