Bayern prepare lucrative Olise deal as Kane delays decision until World Cup
Bayern Munich have prepared a massive new contract proposal for Michael Olise to fend off interest from Real Madrid and Liverpool. The 24-year-old, who moved to Germany in 2024 and is currently representing France at the World Cup, has attracted attention after two sensational seasons.
Club chiefs are ready to offer an extension beyond 2029 that would raise his annual salary from £13m to £22m, a figure intended to eclipse any potential offer from Madrid and Liverpool. Work is also under way on an extension for Harry Kane beyond 2027, with initial talks about a deal running to 2029.
The 32-year-old striker, who scored 61 goals in 51 appearances last season, is open to staying but will not make a definitive decision on his future until the World Cup concludes; he remains one of the club's highest earners with a gross salary reaching up to €25m per year and joined Munich for £80m (€95m) from Tottenham in 2023.
