Bayern Munich are preparing to offer Michael Olise a lucrative new contract to fend off heavy transfer interest from Real Madrid. The Bundesliga club are determined to keep the France winger, who has impressed at the World Cup, by significantly increasing his wages and extending his deal until 2031 as speculation mounts about a high-profile departure.

Olise has enjoyed a strong World Cup for France, providing two assists in a 3-0 victory over Iraq and creating another goal against Senegal. He followed a stellar 2025-26 season with 26 assists for Bayern. Real Madrid have expressed a strong desire to sign him; Florentino Perez recently hinted at a €150m bid for a player outside the Premier League — widely believed to be Olise — and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

Bild reports Bayern have made it clear he will not be sold at any price. Journalist Christian Falk says Bayern want to secure Olise until 2031 and are prepared to almost double his wages to keep him.
