Bayern in talks for Ismael Saibari after personal terms agreed

Bayern Munich have opened formal negotiations with PSV Eindhoven to sign Ismael Saibari, with a package expected to sit between €50 million and €60 million. The club has reached a verbal agreement over personal terms on a contract running until 2031, while PSV retain leverage as Saibari is under contract until 2029.

Head coach Vincent Kompany has identified Saibari as a primary summer target and views him as more than a replacement for Anthony Gordon. The versatile attacker can occupy multiple positions across the front line and is admired for his dynamism, technical finesse, pace and physical presence developed in the youth academies of Anderlecht, Mechelen and Genk.

Saibari was central to PSV’s 2025–26 title-winning campaign, with the club finishing on 84 points and 19 clear of Feyenoord. He recorded 15 goals and eight assists in 27 league appearances, a return that has driven his valuation higher.
