The Kindle has become my go-to for keeping screen time down: I rent ebooks from my public library, download them to the e-reader and keep it within reach so I pull it out as often as I would my phone. It fits in small pockets where a book won't, so I read more on commutes and during busy summer travel, and I find morning and evening reading improves my mood and focus compared with doomscrolling.
