Country singer Bailey Zimmerman has been charged with criminal damage to property (over $1,000) and a misdemeanor for falsely obtaining services in New Mexico on May 27. A warrant for his arrest was issued on June 18. The alleged incident happened the same night Zimmerman canceled an Albuquerque show on his “Different Night Same Rodeo” tour.

He had posted on Instagram that he had “not been feeling well,” saying he needed to reschedule the May 27 and May 30 dates and that tickets would be honored for the new dates. An affidavit obtained by TMZ says the 26-year-old appeared intoxicated at sound check, stumbling, falling and acting belligerently while allegedly throwing equipment.

After returning to the resort and canceling the show, he was reportedly asked to leave, refused to board a bus the property provided and was escorted off the premises; housekeeping later found the room destroyed, with thousands of dollars in damage.
