‘Backrooms’ Officially Pumps the Brakes on Sequel Talk After Historic A24 Debut

An exclusive horror-survival quiz titled “Which Horror Villain Do You Have the Best Chance of Surviving?” matches respondents against five notorious killers: Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Pennywise and Chucky.

Eight multiple-choice questions probe instincts and decisions — whether you’d leave immediately or stay and observe, where you might be when things go wrong, and what your most reliable survival asset would be. Scenarios cover common horror pitfalls like going back for someone, falling asleep, or underestimating a threat.

Each set of answers points to the villain you’re most likely to outlast. The quiz pairs keep-moving strategists with Jason; spatially aware players with Michael; psychologically resilient types with Freddy; those who face fear head-on with Pennywise; and skeptical, cautious responders with Chucky.

At the end it reveals “Your Best Chance Is Against…” and offers the option to retake the quiz.
