A24 is re-releasing the 2026 horror thriller Backrooms under the title Backrooms: Everything Must Go Edition. The film, directed by 21-year-old Kane Parsons and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Renate Reinsve, Mark Duplass, Finn Bennett and Lukita Maxwell, has become A24's highest-grossing title to date and the second-highest-grossing horror feature of the year behind Curry Barker's Obsession.

Listings on movie ticketing websites describe the new version as including "theatrically exclusive post-credits," with roughly 15 minutes of additional footage to be shown after the credits. When the new edition first circulated, there was widespread speculation about whether the extra material would be deleted or extended scenes; it has now been confirmed the content plays once the credits have rolled.

Backrooms opened on May 27, 2026, and runs 110 minutes. There is no announcement yet for a digital or home video release, a not-unexpected decision given the film's strong theatrical performance.
