Atletico Madrid pursue PSG midfielder Lee Kang-in with €35m valuation
Atletico Madrid have made PSG midfielder Lee Kang-in a priority summer target as Diego Simeone seeks more creativity in midfield. The South Korea international is keen on a return to Spain, and PSG will listen to offers if their €35m valuation is met. Simeone has long admired the 25-year-old's versatility and technical quality, and Atletico believe he could add creativity after an inconsistent campaign in that area last season.
PSG have indicated they would consider offers that meet their asking price. PSG would make a significant profit on the player they signed from Mallorca for around €20m three years ago; Lee still has two years remaining on his contract in Paris. Limited starts in major European fixtures last season have contributed to uncertainty over his long-term future, and he is believed to favour a return to La Liga, where he previously represented Valencia and Mallorca.
Paris are already exploring replacements should Kang-in leave, with Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche emerging as a leading candidate.
