Asus unveils hefty ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20

Asus revealed the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20 at Computex, a notably large card that pairs a curved AMOLED display with a quad-fan design that delivers up to 20% improved airflow. Its expanded surface area is a selling point, but the card will likely occupy multiple PCIe slots and come with a steep price.

The Edition 20 range marks ROG's 20th anniversary and extends beyond GPUs to include a motherboard and an NUC, all finished in a black-gold colourway. Asus Chairman Jonney Shih said, "Twenty years on, we didn't just change the game, we transformed the world around it." No firm release window has been given; Asus said many limited-edition items and the exclusive Armoury Crate Edition 20 software theme will be released as limited-time offerings throughout 2026.
