NASA and its partners are working on the solar array wings for the agency’s Artemis III Orion spacecraft. The European Service Module for NASA’s Artemis III mission undergoes acoustic testing inside the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout.

NASA moved the core stage, the largest section of the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket that will launch Artemis III, and the top four-fifths of the SLS core stage for the Artemis III mission was offloaded from the Pegasus barge.

Teams with Boeing, NASA’s Prime Contractor for the agency’s SLS rocket, are mating forward and aft segments. The left-hand and right-hand solid rocket booster aft segments, or bottom sections, for NASA’s Artemis III SLS rocket are seen inside the Rotation, Processing and Surge, and technicians at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida completed lifting and lowering operations for the agency’s Artemis III SLS.
