Artemis III Astronauts

The Artemis III crew will carry out objectives in low Earth orbit to demonstrate critical systems needed for a future lunar landing: NASA astronauts Randy Bresnik (commander), Andre Douglas (mission specialist), Frank Rubio (mission specialist), and ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano (pilot).

Photographs and video stills show the crew in both official portraits and staged video shoots, with images taken on the Teague Auditorium stage. Many images are credited to NASA/Luna Posadas Nava and NASA/Bill Stafford.

Backup crew member Bob Hines is also pictured during a video shoot.

The crew was introduced at an event at NASA’s Johnson Space Center on Tuesday, June 9, 2026; accompanying images include NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman and Christina Koch of Artemis II pictured hugging Frank Rubio and Andre Douglas.
