Arsenal face a hefty price to sign Morgan Rogers, with the fee said to be as much as £100 million as Mikel Arteta looks to freshen his midfield after another successful domestic campaign.

Andrea Berta, charged with recruitment, must weigh that valuation against Rogers’ contract, which runs until June 2031. With Villa under no pressure to sell, Arsenal would likely have to consider offloading major names to fund any move.

Former Villa defender Alan Hutton insisted the club should demand a premium, saying: "I mean, if Villa were to sell, the figure I would go with is £100m." He described Rogers as the "beating heart" of the team, under contract and highly valued by Unai Emery.

Rogers is praised for his ball-carrying and versatility, able to play as a number 10 or drift in from the left to link midfield and attack. Hutton added that while £100m is a large sum, current market values mean a massive offer would be needed to prise him away.
