Arsenal to accept £18m for Gabriel Jesus amid Arteta's summer overhaul

Mikel Arteta is preparing a substantial overhaul at Arsenal after the Champions League final heartbreak, demanding fresh investment to keep the club competitive. As part of a major summer rebuild, the Gunners are prepared to sell Gabriel Jesus for a fee in excess of £18 million.

Jesus, 29, will be allowed to leave north London if a suitor meets that valuation, and he has been considering British citizenship. Long-term servants Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Ben White are also on the list of players who could depart if significant bids arrive, with Arteta pressing the Kroenke family to back a bold recruitment drive as revenue is expected to approach nearly £770m — helped by over £300m in TV money.
