Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth to Star in Prime Video Action Thriller The Kellys

Amazon MGM Studios has acquired the rights to an action movie titled The Kellys, which will stream on Prime Video. The project does not yet have a production or release timeframe, and any theatrical plans remain unannounced. The story follows disgraced New York City cop Jack Kelly after his wife Molly is taken hostage by terrorists inside an old armory.

To save her, he must join forces with the people he fears most — his family. Brad Peyton will direct and adapt a script by Tze Chun. Peyton is known for previous collaborations with Dwayne Johnson, including Rampage and San Andreas, while Chun’s credits include Gotham and Once Upon a Time.

Casting beyond the leads is still being completed. The film reunites Arnold Schwarzenegger and Liam Hemsworth after their first appearance together in The Expendables 2.
