Arm has teamed with Sumo Digital to release a short video called Neural Dawn that demonstrates neural rendering in its next‑generation mobile GPU architecture. Built with Unreal Engine 5.6 and Megalights, the demo showcases ray‑traced graphics, AI denoising and frame generation.

Neural Dawn will be released later this year as a very short, 120‑minute interactive tech demo. It highlights two features: Neural Super Sampling and Denoising (NSSD) and Neural Frame Rate Upscaling (NFRU), Arm's equivalents to Nvidia's DLSS Ray Reconstruction and DLSS Frame Generation.

While bringing this tech to phones is notable, the demo prompts a rethink about platforms. High‑end phone displays and mobile GPUs can match resolutions used by handheld PCs such as the ROG Xbox Ally X or Legion Go S, and in larger enclosures phone processors can sustain higher frequencies for longer, as the MacBook Neo example suggests.
