Since launch, Arc Raiders has struggled with item duplication exploits that undermine its core loop of finding and keeping loot. While many glitches are patched quickly—sometimes involving odd items like endless rubber duckies—the duplicated spoils spread fast: a weapon locker full of Bobcats is hard to ignore.

YouTuber The Gaming Merchant investigated by joining PvP servers and found repeatedly overpowered players carrying Bobcats, gold-quality mods such as the Kinetic Converter, and more. One player killed them and dropped a mountain of Bobcats, claiming to hold even larger stockpiles in their stash.

Outside matches, Facebook and Discord groups show people buying and selling in-game gear for real money, activity likely tied to duping or third-party tools and in breach of Embark’s terms of service. The Gaming Merchant’s research points to much of this activity taking place on Asian servers, which can be selected in the settings, and players admitted trading duped items across regions.
