Apple WWDC preview: iOS 27, a new Siri and smart-glasses rumors

Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference runs June 8–12, with the keynote set for June 8 at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. ET and available to stream on YouTube, Apple’s website, Apple TV and the Apple Developer app. Expect focus on Apple Intelligence after a somewhat stalled rollout, and a long‑anticipated overhaul of Siri that reportedly leans on Google’s Gemini.

The revamped assistant is described as more agentic, able to use screen context to run tasks, edit images or share files, and it may appear as a standalone app on devices. WWDC should also preview the next generation of operating systems — iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, tvOS 27, watchOS 27 and visionOS 27 — bringing natural‑language controls for Apple Intelligence and new features such as a sleeker Watch Ultra face, Vision Pro accessibility options like eye‑controlled wheelchair support, and AI photo tools called Extend, Enhance and Reframe.
