Andy Dick signed autographs and chatted with fans at the Hollywood Show convention in Los Angeles, several months after a near-fatal overdose. He was pictured at a booth on Friday wearing a pinstriped jacket over a black T-shirt. The outing comes more than five months after he was found unconscious during an apparent overdose.

Footage from Dec. 9 showed him break off from friends who were filming, smoke crack with a man on the street, then slump on concrete steps as bystanders tried to revive him; he was revived after receiving four shots of Narcan. He has described the episode as a near-death experience, saying he "legit died" and that when he came to, the first thing he asked was, "Where's the vodka?" He checked himself into a Palm Springs rehab facility afterward and left less than two months later, saying, "I've been to rehab many, many, many, many, many times" and that this one "feels different." He later joked on a podcast, "There were no bright lights.
