Analogue Pocket struggles with Everdrive GBA Mini in latest batch
The latest variants of the Analogue Pocket are running into compatibility problems with Everdrive Game Boy flash carts. Krikzz, the creator of the Everdrive, has suggested the issue running GBA ROMs on the FPGA handheld may be hardware-related, but community posts and troubleshooting threads offer conflicting explanations.
A user called elfricko reported a "04 File not found" error when using a GBA Mini, and traced it to file-system entries where the letter "r" had been replaced by "v"—for example, "romcfg" appearing as "vomcfg." A Reddit thread titled "Possible defective RAM on newest AP batch" points at a suspected RAM fault in recent Pocket units, and elfricko says they know of multiple affected owners.
Analogue reportedly told one owner to contact the accessory manufacturer and noted it does not provide support for third-party devices. Forum users say re-editing the changed letters restores the cart's file system and library, but the Everdrive still fails to run on the Pocket.
