Ana de Armas to Star with Kate Hudson in Erotic Thriller Palm Grove

Ana de Armas will star opposite Kate Hudson in the erotic thriller Palm Grove, Deadline reports. The film is described as set in Miami’s most exclusive neighborhood, where a picture-perfect wife uncovers her husband’s double life and a seductive power game turns betrayal into the most intoxicating game of her life.

De Armas has taken on a wide range of roles, from horror in Knock Knock and murder mysteries like Knives Out to biopics such as Blonde, and major franchise parts in No Time to Die and Blade Runner 2049. The erotic thriller genre, which dominated for decades before fading in the 2000s, has been seeing a comeback with films like The Housemaid, Babygirl, and The Voyeurs, starring actors such as Amanda Seyfried, Nicole Kidman, and Sydney Sweeney.

Palm Grove is an original script by James Morosini and will be directed by Kornél Mundruczó.
