Among Us animated series launches with 10 episodes
All 10 episodes of the animated Among Us series are available today on Paramount+. The show leans on a stacked celebrity voice cast but delivers limited substance and relatively few hearty laughs. The premise is straightforward: a colorful crew of little Among Us characters are trapped on a spaceship with an alien shapeshifter posing as one of them and killing crewmates one by one.
There’s roughly one murder per episode, and the audience is left in the dark alongside the characters until the end. Episodes are short, roughly 12–15 minutes each. A reviewer who watched the first five episodes said the series does a good job of distinguishing each color character.
Patton Oswalt voices White, Yvette Nicole Brown is Orange, Elijah Wood plays Green, and Randall Park is Red; one of those four dies fairly early. Randall Park’s bumbling captain drew the most laughs for the reviewer, while several of the show’s jokes land through visual details in the art and animation.
