American Ninja Warrior Season 18: Episode 1 Results and Season Guide

American Ninja Warrior returns for Season 18, promising more gravity-defying runs, dramatic saves and emotional stories from competitors ranging from teachers and firefighters to parents and pro athletes. The season introduces a revamped Regional Qualifying structure—West, Central and East regions now feed into all-new Regional Finals—and brings a new three-part course called The Tripleheader to decide the finalists.

Episode 1, which aired June 8, 2026, sent 80 Ninjas from the Western region through Shrinking Steps, Roller Bags, Diamond Dash, Kite Surfer, Kaleidoscope and the Warped Wall. Any competitor who scaled the Warped Wall in under 1:10 earned a shot at the 18-foot Mega Wall and a $10,000 prize.

The top five performers who secured a direct path to Round 2 of the Regional Finals were Josiah Pippel, John Mack, Kaden Lebsack, Sean Bryan and Cal Plohoros. Co-hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Matt Iseman and Zuri Hall welcomed the new lineup to the course.
