American Ninja Warrior Debuts New Tripleheader Twist

Season 18 of American Ninja Warrior has introduced the Tripleheader, a new obstacle built for head-to-head-to-head races that brings three times the twists and turns and forces competitors to beat out two other Ninjas. An exclusive sneak peek ahead of the Western Regional Finals features defending champion Kai Beckstrand, YouTube ANW sensation Ashton Myler, and seasoned veteran David "The Godfather" Campbell taking on the high-stakes round.

Before the race Myler said, "My opponents are living legends. You've got David Campbell, who's been here for so long, on so many seasons of American Ninja Warrior. And Kai Beckstrand literally won last year." Campbell quipped, "This isn't the match I was hoping for.

But there's a certain poetic significance to it. It's kind of the OG versus the new G." Beckstrand added, "David Campbell is a very seasoned veteran at this point.
