Amazon MGM Picks Up Jason Momoa for 'Shots! Shots! Shots!'

Jason Momoa is reuniting with Amazon MGM Studios for a new action film after co-starring with Dave Bautista in The Wrecking Crew.

Amazon MGM Studios has acquired the action comedy Shots! Shots! Shots!, a spec originally picked up by Universal Pictures in 2022 from writers Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows. Universal moved on amid "shifting budget priorities," and Amazon stepped in.

No official plot details have been released, but the project is described as a family-centric action-adventure that blends elements of Taken, True Lies and The Lost City. More to come.
