Amazon expands sales events as Prime Day runs June 23 to 26

Amazon has turned Prime Day into a quarterly affair, adding a Spring Sale in March, an October Prime Day and an extended Black Friday on top of the original event. This year Prime Day runs from Tuesday, June 23 to Friday, June 26. I spend a lot of time writing about technology and use price comparison tools and trackers to check whether discounts are genuine and how often prices drop.

Remembering historical prices also helps decide whether an offer is worth buying. Many of these sales are more useful for retailers to clear inventory or revive interest in their own products than for shoppers seeking the best possible bargain, but valuable deals do appear.

When I find them I will point them out and explain when a purchase is or isn't a good value.
