Amazon discounts JBL Go 4 to lowest price across all colorways

Amazon has reduced the JBL Go 4 portable speaker to $40, down from its usual $50, a 20% discount for a limited time.

About the size of two decks of cards stacked, the Go 4 is pocket-sized and includes a lanyard loop for clipping to a bag or belt for easier carrying.

Despite its small stature it delivers noticeably better sound than a phone-in-a-cup makeshift setup, and two units can be paired for stereo separation or to amplify the same audio. Battery life runs up to seven hours, with an optional Playtime Boost that adds roughly two more hours.

The Go 4 carries an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating for beach or pool use and comes in nine color options, including black, white, red, purple and a camo pattern—all of which were on sale for $40 at the time of writing.
